Meditate
Interfaith ChapelA great way to get away from the chaos of the main terminal is to spend some time in the Interfaith Chapel. Most airports will have multi faith prayer rooms available for traveling passengers. These are open, inviting spaces where guests are encouraged to be quiet and respectful and take some time for reflection. Choose one of our guided meditation videos, which you can find over on the ‘Videos’ tab and use your airport downtime to relax and centre yourself. Open 24 hours a day so that traveling passengers can relax and meditate.Located in the Jeppesen Terminal on Level 6.
Explore The Airport Art
Denver Airport Art ProgramDenver Airport is well known for its amazing art collections and exhibits, it was voted the best US airport for art in 2013. In addition to its permanent art collection, the airport curates temporary exhibitions, collaborating with museums, cultural institutions and arts organizations. Walk the terminals to get in a little exercise and explore all the art the airport has to offer.
Destress
The Canine Airport Therapy SquadThe Canine Airport Therapy Squad is a group (100+) of dedicated therapy dogs (and one cat) whose job it is to help travelers destress while at the airport. The volunteer crews walk the terminal and offer a happy distraction from the stresses of travel. Follow @DENAirport on Twitter to see the daily CATS schedule and keep an eye out for the furry volunteers!
Stretch
If you don’t have much time at the airport before your flight but still want to do something good for your body and mind, take the time to stretch and do some yoga. You don’t even have to venture far from your gate, find a little space and stretch and move your muscles before getting on your flight. There are lots of video tutorials you can follow in the Sanctifly app and none of them require equipment or very much space. You can find them over on the ‘Videos’ tab. You won’t regret it!
