The Bistro by Wolfgang Puck The Bistro by Wolfgang Puck offers a range of casual fare in a relaxed dining environment overlooking Sydney’s city skyline. Enjoy a range of delicious, filling meals that will keep you feeling full throughout the rest of your trip. For a hearty meal choose from one of the gourmet pizzas or, if you are looking for a lighter snack go for Wolfgang Puck’s signature chopped salad. Open daily from 06:00 – 22:00. Located in after security in Terminal 1, near Gate 10.Relax
The House LoungeIf you are spending a few hours in the airport you may want to spend it in the luxurious and relaxing surroundings of The House airport lounge. Head to the lounge for full waiter service, delicious food, free unlimited Wi-Fi and more. Shower facilities are available for guests to use so that you can freshen up and energize before continuing your journey. You can use the lounge three hours prior to your flight time. Extra hours can be purchased in advance if you plan to arrive earlier. Booking is essential for any No1 Lounge as they tend to get very busy. If you book online entry is discounted to $80 per person. Access on the day costs $90 and is subject to availability. The lounge asks that all guests wear smart-casual clothing when visiting the lounge. The lounge is open daily from 5.30 to 21.30.The House is situated after security in Terminal 1 – it is only accessible to passengers travelling on international flights. After passing through security, follow signs for airport lounges, the lounge is located on Pier C towards Gates 51 - 63.Get Some Fresh Air
Outdoor areas close to the airportSydney airport has numerous close by locations that are perfect for plane spotting. Even if you are not an aviation enthusiast, getting out in the fresh air while staying close to the airport is a great way to spend your airport downtime. Soak up some of the Australian sunshine and get some fresh air before getting on your next flight. Head to Shep’s Mound. Recently renovated by Sydney airport, Shep’s Mound has two elevated areas, a carpark and grassy areas to sit. To get there follow Ross Smith Avenue from the Domestic Terminal or General Holmes Drive towards the control tower.Head to Runway 16R landing. This spot is just a 10-minute walk from the domestic terminal. If you are a plane spotting enthusiast, the best viewing time is between 06:00 and 23:00.Luggage Storage
Baggage Storage operated by Smart CarteLockers are available to store your bags during your layover. Prices start at $12 for 24 hours and vary depending on the size of your luggage.
