Relax In A Lounge
The Royal Palm LoungeUpgrade your airport experience by spending the time before you flight relaxing in an airport lounge. Sanctifly has one partner lounge at Orlando International Airport. Premium members can use a Sanctifly pass to access The Royal Palm Lounge in Terminal A. The lounge offers complimentary drinks and snacks and comfortable seating away from the hustle and bustle of the airport terminal. Open daily from 10:00 – 23:00. This lounge is located in the international departure lounge, adjacent to Budweiser Tap Room. Premium Sanctifly members can find and book lounge experiences over on the ‘Facilities’ tab.
Meditate
Interfaith ChapelA great way to get away from the chaos of the main terminal is to spend some time in the Interfaith Chapel. Most airports will have multi-faith prayer rooms available for traveling passengers. These are open, inviting spaces where guests are encouraged to be quiet and respectful and take some time for reflection. Choose one of our guided meditation-videos, which you can find over on the ‘Videos’ tab and use your airport downtime to relax and centre yourself.Located after security on the west side of the terminal near Gates 1-59.
Enjoy The Airport Art
Art at MCOThere are lots of public art pieces on display at Orlando International Airport. You can find photography, paintings, sculptures and more throughout the terminals. A great way to get some exercise before your flight is to walk the terminals and find all the airport pieces on display. Moving your body, especially before going on a long haul flight is extremely important for maintaining your physical (and mental!) health. Don’t spend your airport downtime waiting at the gate, walk the terminals and enjoy the amazing art MCO has to offer.
Stretch
If you don’t have much time at the airport before your flight but still want to do something good for your body and mind, take the time to stretch and do some yoga. You don’t even have to venture far from your gate, find a little space and stretch and move your muscles before getting on your flight. Movement and exercise can help with circulation and make it much easier to relax and even sleep on the plane. There are lots of video tutorials you can follow in the Sanctifly app and none of them requires equipment or very much space. You can find them over on the ‘Videos’ tab. Take ten minutes to move your body before catching your flight you won’t regret it!
