Walk The Terminals

PIT Art ProgramDon’t spend your airport downtime sitting at the gate. Take the opportunity to move your body and get a little exercise. Walking is a great low impact exercise that helps with circulation and your mental health. As you walk visit the many art exhibits on display throughout the terminal. The Art’s Program at PIT showcases a dynamic array of work produced by local, regional, national, and international artists.

Meditate

Inter-faith Reflection RoomA great way to get away from the busyness of the main terminal is to spend some time in the Interfaith Reflection Room. Most airports will have multi-faith prayer rooms available for traveling passengers. These are open, inviting spaces where guests are encouraged to be quiet and respectful and take some time for reflection. Choose one of our guided meditation-videos, which you can find over on the ‘Videos’ tab and use your airport downtime to relax and center yourself.Located after security, on the Mezzanine Level.

Stretch At The Gate

If you don’t have much time at the airport before your flight but still want to do something good for your body and mind, take the time to stretch and do some yoga. You don’t even have to venture far from your gate, find a little space and stretch and move your muscles before getting on your flight. Movement and exercise can help with circulation and make it much easier to relax and even sleep on the plane. There are lots of video tutorials you can follow in the Sanctifly app and none of them require equipment or very much space. You can find them over on the ‘Videos’ tab. Take ten minutes to move your body before catching your flight you won’t regret it!
