Meditate

Spend your airport downtime taking care of your mind. Travel can be stressful, even for the most experienced flyer. Meditation is a great tool to help reduce travel stress and help you to feel more energised as you take on the next portion of your journey. Find a quiet spot in the airport (empty gates are great for this!) and follow along with one of our guided meditation videos. Make your airport downtime work for you by spending it doing something good for your body and mind.Choose one of our guided meditation videos, which you can find over on the ‘Videos’ tab and use your airport downtime to relax and centre yourself.

Enjoy Art & Music

Art & Music at PDXSpend your airport downtime exploring the terminals and enjoy the art and live music PDX has to offer. The airport maintains a rotating exhibits program throughout the airport, showcasing local artists through photography, painting, sculpture and more. The airport also features live music performances every day by local volunteer musicians. Going on an airport art and music trail is a great wait to get some exercise and move your body before catching your next flight.

Stretch At The Gate

If you don’t have much time at the airport before your flight but still want to do something good for your body and mind, take the time to stretch and do some yoga. You don’t even have to venture far from your gate, find a little space and stretch and move your muscles before getting on your flight. Movement and exercise can help with circulation and make it much easier to relax and even sleep on the plane. There are lots of video tutorials you can follow in the Sanctifly app and none of them requires equipment or very much space. You can find them over on the ‘Videos’ tab. Take ten minutes to move your body before catching your flight you won’t regret it!
