Visit The Park

US Bullhead Memorial ParkGet out of the airport and spend your airport downtime in the fresh air at US Bullhead Memorial Park. The park has sports facilities and ground along with large grass areas perfect for running or just enjoying a stroll in the fresh air.It is located 3.6 miles from the airport. The quickest and easiest way to get there is by taxi. Alternatively, you can quickly get to the park via public transport directly from the airport, take the number 50 bus to Yale @ Renard and then the number 96 bus to Gibson @ Yale.

Go For A Swim

Highland PoolUse your airport downtime to maintain your fitness routine by going for a swim at Highland Pool. Swimming is a great full-body exercise and will help you feel relaxed and energized before catching your next flight. Please note that as this is a public pool, it can get busy. No towel services are available, so make sure you pack your swimming gear in your carry on. Entry costs $2.50 per adult. Open Monday – Friday from 06:00 – 20:00 and 12:00 – 16:00 on weekends (lap times are applicable).It is located 3.9 miles from the airport. The quickest and easiest way to get there is by taxi. Public transport routes are available. Use Google maps to plan your journey and make sure to leave plenty of time to get back to the airport and through security.
