Visit The Park

TravbaneparkenEnjoy some time away from the airport terminal and in the fresh air at Travbaneparken. This 20 hectare park has walking paths, large green spaces and tree covered areas, perfect for going for a walk or a run or just sitting in the sunshine and enjoying the outdoors.Located 1.8 miles from the airport. You can easily walk to the park in 30 minutes.

National Aquarium DenmarkIf the weather isn’t great or you just don’t fancy a stroll in the park, head to one of Copenhagen’s best indoor activities, the National Aquarium. Explore breath taking exhibits, learn about marine life and nature conservancy in Denmark and enjoy the history of this nearly 90 year old aquarium.Located less than 1 mile from the airport, you can easily walk to the aquarium in approx. 20 minutes. Open daily from 10:00 – 17:00.

Go For A Swim

Amager StrandparkAnother great way to spend your airport layover is at Amager Strandpark. This sandy beach is 4km long, perfect for taking a dip in the ocean or a relaxing stroll along the beach. At the south side of the beach is Kastrup Søbad, a public swimming pool in the ocean! The long walkway to a diving platform and a sheltered pool is a unique experience.Located 2.1 miles from the airport. The quickest and easiest way to get there is via taxi. Or, if you have a bit more time you can walk to the beach in approx. 45 minutes.
