However, if you want to get out of the airport terminal and into the fresh air you can go for a walk in the Airport Cycle-Path. This 28 km cycle path starts in the city and ends at the airport, just outside Terminal 1. Although not the most scenic walk, it’s a great opportunity for anyone that wants to get out of the airport during their layover. Before you do though, make sure to check the weather. Temperatures in Qatar can be quite high and walking during the intense heat is not advised.
