Run In The Park

Jesse H. Jones Park & Nature CenterGet out of the airport terminal and into the fresh air during your layover. Head to Jesse H. Jones Park & Nature Center and spend your airport downtime enjoying the outdoors. Spend your time working up a sweat by running the 8+ miles of paved trails or spend your time leisurely strolling through the park and enjoying the scenery. The nature centre in the park also provides a variety of free guided tours so you can spend your time learning about the surrounding area. The park is open daily from 08:00 until dusk and the nature center is open daily from 08:00 – 16:30.Located 4.2 miles from the airport. The quickest and easiest way to get there is by taxi. There are no direct public transport links from the airport to the park.

Planet FitnessDon’t let travel disrupt your fitness routine. Use your airport downtime to workout. Head to Planet Fitness for a full-service gym with cardio equipment, free weights and more. Work up a sweat and then freshen up with a shower before heading to the airport for your flight. You will need to bring your own towel and toiletries so don’t forget to put them in your carry on.
