Visit The Park

Koivuhaka arboretumGet out of the airport terminal during your layover and go for a walk in the fresh air at Koivuhaka arboretum. Enjoy peace and quiet as you stroll along the paths and enjoy the beautiful surroundings. The park is a great spot for a run too, with paved walkways and forest trails throughout. Go for an invigorating run during your layover and then head back to the National Bank Lounge for a shower before your flight.Located 2.6 miles from the airport. The quickest and easiest way to get there is by taxi. Public transport routes are available. Use Google maps to plan your route and make sure to leave plenty of time to get back to the airport and through security.

Take A Nap

The city is home to a number of museums and a science museum so you can spend your layover learning and exploring or, for a more relaxed time, enjoy a peaceful and scenic walk along the Keravanjoki river.Vantaa is located 3.7 miles from the airport and is well connected via public transport links. The P Train (Helsinki via Tikkurila) leaves the airport every 10 minutes and will get you to Vantaa in approx. 16 minutes.
