A run or a walk in nature is a great way to relieve travel stress and energize your body and mind. World’s Fair Marina offers a beautiful 1.4 mile promenade, surrounding Flushing Bay. Take a relaxing walk or sit and watch the planes fly by in this tranquil surrounding. Make it a truly relaxing experience by finding a quiet spot along the promenade and do some yoga. You can find a number of yoga and stretch videos specially designed for frequent travelers over on the ‘Videos’ tab.Located 3.5 miles from the airport. Grab a taxi from the Terminal or, if you have a bit more time you can walk to the marina in approximately 30 minutes.Work OutPlanet FitnessDon’t let travel disrupt your fitness routine. Use your airport downtime to workout. Head to Planet Fitness for a full-service gym with cardio equipment, free weights and more. Work up a sweat and then freshen up with a shower before heading to the airport for your flight. Queen’s International Night MarketIf your layover is between 6pm and midnight on a Saturday escape the hustle and bustle of the airport and soak up the atmosphere at Queen’s International Night Market. Every Saturday night up to 100 different vendors at the market sell various items from arts and crafts to ethnic food.
