Run In The Park

Riverside Garden ParkGet some fresh air and go for a run or walk at Riverside Garden Park. Located 2 miles from the airport, it is a great opportunity to get outside without venturing too far from the airport. The park has lots of green space, paths, lakes and recreation areas, perfect for a vigorous run or a leisurely stroll.If you have some extra time you can walk to the park in approx. 30 minutes from the North Terminal. If you get the inter-terminal shuttle to the South Terminal, it will only take you approx. 15 minute to walk to the park.

Wakehurst There are so many great outdoor areas close to Gatwick Airport. If you want to visit a slightly bigger park with more to do head for Wakehurst. Stroll through the botanical gardens or take one of the daily guided walking tours to learn about the landscape and the Millennium Seedbank. Entry costs £14.The Gardens are located 10.2 miles from the airport. Take the Thameslink to Haywards Heath and then the 272 bus to Wakehurst Place Drive.
