See The Sharks

Shark Reef AquariumDon’t spend you travel downtime in the airport, get out of the terminal and enjoy the surrounding amenities. You don’t have to venture too far from LAS to find some interesting options. The Shark Reef Aquarium is a great place to spend a few hours. Explore the exhibits and see and learn about some amazing marine wildlife. Admission costs $22 for adults and $15 for children.Located 3.4 miles from the airport. The quickest and easiest way to get there is by taxi. Alternatively, you can catch the 109 bus from the airport to South Strip Transit Terminal Bay 1 and then the DEUCE bus to the Four Seasons. If you have some extra time to spare and want to get in a little exercise you can walk to the aquarium in approx. 1 hour.

Go For A Swim & A Work Out

24 hour FitnessSpend your airport downtime maintaining and building your fitness routing by heading to 24 Hour Fitness for a workout. The gym offers a large workout area with lots of cardio equipment and free weights and an indoor lap pool. Pack your swimming gear and a towel and get in a full body workout while you wait for your flight. The gym also offers a sauna and a steam room so you can relax your muscles after your workout. The quickest and easiest way to get there is by taxi. Alternatively, you can get the 109 bus from the airport to NB Maryland before Tropicana and then the 201 bus to EB Tropicana after Palm. The gym is at 4440 E Tropicana Ave.

Run In The Park

Sunset ParkGet out of the airport and into the fresh air with a visit to Sunset Park. Located very close to the airport you can easily go for a walk or a run surrounded by nature without worrying about missing your flight. Sunset Park has 4 trails (3.5 miles) to explore, perfect for a leisurely walk or an energetic run. The park has many other amenities such as basketball courts and Disc Golf. Once you have finished your workout head back to the airport and take a shower at The Club lounge to freshen up before your next flight.Located just 2.3 miles from the airport. The quickest and easiest way to get there is by taxi.

Luggage Storage

Bags to GoUnfortunately, there are no luggage storage facilities at LAS. Bags to Go is an approved McCarran Airport partner located off site at 4057 Dean Martin Dr, Las Vegas. Prices start from $8 per bag per day. Open 7 days a week from 08:00 – 21:00.Located 4.2 miles from the airport. The quickest and easiest way to get there is by taxi. The luggage storage facility is located just 5 minutes form the Las Vegas Strip so is most convenient if you are planning to spend your airport downtime on the iconic Las Vegas Strip.You can also try these options:
  • Ask at the airport information desk for recommendations on nearby luggage storage facilities.
  • If you are heading downtown, check for luggage storage lockers at bus and train terminals.
  • Use Google to find a luggage storage service. There are lots of apps and websites that offer luggage storage options on large cities across the US.
