Relax At The Beach

A great spot for swimming, walking, running or relaxing, Lady Robinson Beach offers a peaceful environment away from the chaos of the airport. Why not take a dip and them head back to the airport and get cleaned up using the free shower rooms?Lady Robinson beach is just 3.7 miles from Sydney airport. The best way to get there is via taxi as public transport routes can take up to an hour.Small lockers are available at the beach to store your personal belongings while you swim.
Run In The park
Sir Joseph Banks ParkGet out of the airport and get some fresh air during your layover with a trip to Sir Joseph Banks Park. The park has paved and unpaved paths perfect for an invigorating run or a casual stroll. Don’t spend your airport downtime sitting in the terminal, use the time to get out in nature and enjoy some sunshine. Even if you don’t feel like exercising simply being out in the fresh air and surrounded by nature is a great boost for your mental health. Leave your luggage at the airport and enjoy the park hands free. If you go for a run, head back to the airport and freshen up with a shower before your flight.Located 2.8 miles from the airport. The quickest and easiest way to get there is by taxi. If you have some extra time you can walk to the park from the terminal in approx. 1 hour or catch the T8 train to Green Square Station and then the 309 bus to Botany Rd before Wilson St.
Go On A Cliff Walk
Bondi to Coogee Cliff WalkIf you want to get some exercise and get great sea views take a walk on the Bondi to Coogee Cliff Walk, the trail is a cliff top coastal walk that extends for 6km and features stunning views, beaches, parks, cliffs, bays and rock pools. It takes about two hours to complete the Bondi to Coogee Beach section of the walk, but you can walk for as long as you like and then turn back. Make sure you bring water and sunscreen to protect you from the strong Australian sun.Coogee is located 7.2 miles from Sydney airport. The best way to get to the cliff walk starting point is by taxi. Take a taxi to Coogee and stroll along the cliff top while enjoying the breath-taking ocean views. Taxi terminals are available outside the terminal.
