Head downtown

If you have a longer layover at Nashville International Airport, take the opportunity to head to Nashville. The airport is located 9.5 miles from the city centre and is well connected via public transport links. Spend the day exploring the city and enjoying the vibrant atmosphere of this very unique city. Always make sure you leave plenty of time to get back to the airport and through security before your next flight.

Avoid downtown

If you have a longer layover at BNA but don’t want to head downtown, spend your day exploring the local area instead. Elm Hill Recreation is located just 6.1 miles from the airport and is a great spot to spend the day. Stroll by the water and enjoy the beautiful scenery during your airport layover.

Transport Options

Bus: The WeGo Public Transit connects the airport and downtown Nashville Hotels. One-way bus fare is $1.70. Catch the bus in the Ground Transportation Center, Level 1 of the Terminal Garage.Taxi: Taxis are available 24 hours in the Parking and Transportation Center. All taxis are metered with a starting fare of $7 plus $2.10 per mile.

Overnight Layover?

If you have an overnight layover at BNA and want to get a good night’s rest, there are a number of hotel options located close to the airport. The Hampton Inn & Suites Nashville Airport and the Radisson Hotel Nashville Airport are located close to the airport and offer guests a free shuttle to and from the airport.
