Head Downtown

If you have a longer layover at Incheon Airport, why not take the opportunity to explore the city of Seoul. Catch the airport express train (see transport options below) and spend you day enjoying the cultural and historical sights of the city.  Always make sure you leave plenty of time to get back to the airport and through security before your next flight. Important! Check in advance if you need a visa to leave the airport.

Transport Options

Train: The Railroad Express (AREX) connect ICN Airport to downtown Seoul and other surrounding areas. For fares and schedules visit the website.Bus: There are many public bus routes that connect ICN to the surrounding area. There are also dedicated night bus routes for passengers arriving overnight. Visit the Seoul Incheon Airport for more details on when and where to catch the bus.

Overnight Layover?

Hotel Options at ICNIf you have an overnight layover at ICN and want to get a good night’s sleep, there are hotel options available in the airport. The Incheon Airport Terminal Hotel is a great option for passengers that do not want to pass through security. Located in Terminal 1 & 2, rooms can be booked for a 12 or 24 hour period. The Darakhyu Capsule Hotel is another option, located in the airport but outside of security. The rooms are small but comfortable with options for a single or double bed and private shower room. Located in Terminal 1 and 2, capsules can be booked for day use or overnight.

CJ LogisticsLocated in the Main Passenger Terminal before security. Open daily for 24 hours. Prices are approx. $5 - $9 per day.
