Stretch and relax.

Unfortunately Atlanta airport does not have luggage storage facilities.Bagil, which is located 10 miles (16 km) from the airport provide luggage storage facilities for people looking to explore the city. Call the number on their website or clickherefor directions to the facility.

Go for a jog.

TheAdams Recreation Centreis a great place to relax, go for a jog or workout before a flight. The centre is surrounded by an outdoor running trail and a lake. Explore the park.

Piedmont Parkis a little further away than the Adarns Recreation Centre but it is well worth the trip. Located 13.1 miles (38 minutes) drive from the airport, Piedmont is a great area to walk, jog or do some yoga stretches using Sarah’s videos on theSanctiflyapp. If you happen to be in Atlanta on the 4th Monday in the month the park holds free yoga classes! Discover an underwater world.

Explore Georgia Aquarium and experience everything from tranquil tropical fish, to bubbly beluga whales, to intelligent dolphin shows. The aquarium is a great place to take a break and relax if you have a long layover. De-stress in nature

TheAtlanta Botanical Gardens’ display of outdoor plants is a great place to de-stress before a flight. The sea of green creates a tranquil escape and is a world away from the noisy chaos of the airport. The garden includes 30 acres of outdoor gardens, a cafe and an award-winning children’s garden. Take a hike!

TheBartram Trailis a popular destination for hikers. The view from the top of the trail is breath taking and many travelers stop halfway to unwind, eat some lunch and take in the amazing scenery. The full trail is estimated to be a 35 mile (56 km) stretch. Bartram Trail is a 2.7-hour (139 miles) drive from the airport.
